General Information

All massages are performed offsite at a clients preferred location. Travel charges of $1.00/per mile to cover costs of,set up, take down and travel time to and from our Governor’s Harbour location will be added to final bill.

Swedish Massage

As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish Massage technique is to relax your entire body. The movements applied, warm up the muscle tissue, releasing tension and gradually breaking up muscle “knots” or adhered tissues, called adhesions.

The Swedish Massage will increase the blood supply and nutrients to the muscles, as well as calming the nervous system and relaxing muscular tension.

Deep Tissue Massage

This Deep Tissue Massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). It is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.  This technique also helps to break up scar tissue that can form following an injury/strain and reduce tension in muscle and tissue.

PreNatal Massage

Prenatal  Massage therapy performed during pregnancy can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health. This session addresses different needs through varying techniques which are designed to the personal needs of the mother to be. This therapy aims to relax muscle tension and improve lymphatic and blood circulation through mild pressure applied to the muscle groups of the body.  This recommended massage method during pregnancy addresses many common discomforts associated with the skeletal and circulatory changes brought on by hormone and body shifts associated to pregnancy.  Check with your doctor before booking!

Hot Stone Massage

The Hot Stone Massage is a soothing, deeply relaxing treatment which will melt your tensions away by using smooth, heated stones as an extension of hands, by placing them on the body. The heat helps to warm up tight muscles allowing your practitioner to work more deeply into the muscles to relieve all aches and pains.  The stones are also placed on certain energy chakra points on the body to help re-balance the body and mind and give a deeper sense of serenity.

Driftwood Beach Massage

The Driftwood Beach Massage is a unique outdoor 60 minute experience incorporating techniques to relax, balance and stimulate you. Selecting the aromatherapy oil that resonates with the client’s well being and then the chosen oil will be infused into the massage oils and outdoor ambiance which heightens scent and creates mental clarity. The massage commences to target the whole-body releasing tightness, toxins and putting the client in a full state of peacefulness. The Driftwood Beach Massage is truly a holistic experience that resonates with all clients as they embrace their experience with the sound of surf from the beach.

Back – Neck – Shoulder Massage

The Back – Neck – Shoulder Massage is one of our most popular massages for both men and women looking to relieve back and muscle tension which has been built up and exacerbated by the stress of modern day living. If you are suffering from ingrained patterns of stress and tension, suffering from stiffness and pain in your shoulders, neck and back, this deep tissue massage may be the perfect way to alleviate that tension and get you feeling better again.
